Compaq EZ-SCSI VERSION 2.02
                      INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This README file contains instructions for installing COMPAQ EZ-SCSI 
Configuration Software and Device Drivers found on the EZ-SCSI Utilities
Version 2.02 diskette.

Before proceeding with the installation,

.  Connect and configure your SCSI hardware and peripherals
   as described in the hardware documentation.


USING THE EZ-SCSI INSTALLATION PROGRAM

This program installs the Compaq EZ-SCSI files on your hard disk by copying
and, if necessary, decompressing the files.

To install,

1.  Insert the Compaq EZ-SCSI diskette in drive A.

2.  At the A: prompt, type

        INSTALL

    and follow the screen instructions.

3.  When installation is complete, remove the diskette from drive A and
    press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys.  This restarts the system and
    causes the changes to take effect.


Manual Installation

To install individual EZ-SCSI files, refer to Chapter 1 of the "COMPAQ EZ-SCSI
SOFTWARE REFERENCE."  Do not use the DOS COPY command because certain files 
must be decompressed.
