It has no display and no keyboard. And half it's screws are gone. But
never mind. It hasn't lost it's chips yet.
It's still man enough for serving these webpages, right from the wall
in my living-room.
As you see on the picture on the right, the upper black box is the
webserver, you are currently surfing on.
The blue box underneath is a
dsl-modem/router - it connects the server over an ADSL-connection
to the web.
The server is an old Compaq Contura Aero
Laptop-Computer, a 486SX 25 Mhz with 20 MB RAM and currently a
40 GB Fujitsu harddisk. A computer, released 1993. Now screwed to my wall.
"You've never heard of the aero? It's the laptop that
made the kessel run in less than 16.53 bogomips...
