Other Softpaqs:
Although perhaps newer, older or originally not intended for the Aero, you might want to try these softpaqs because of localizations, extra features or other purposes.

I suggest, you first install the above described softpaq SP1585 - then you update to either Version 2.04.A (SP3019.EXE - SP3015.EXE), to Softpaq 2774 or 2041.
All of those softpaqs perform in their installation routine a check, if they are installing on an aero and if they find one, they don't install software that's not intended for it. (This check is programmed in the cpqinst.inf file on the installation disk)
So you can be sure the software designers had the aero in mind with these softpaqs, although they write they are intended only for the armada.

I don't suggest updating to Ver. 2.04B (SP4608.EXE - SP4598.EXE) - it doesn't perform the check for the aero any more and installs software like "shutdown.exe" that doesn't work at all.
